Chee Shye Return Policies

1) Ask CHEE SHYE for Return Material Authorizations Number (RMA#).

2. Product must have a RMA# to be received.

3. If you return any merchandise, the RMA# should be clearly displayed on the return shipping label.

4. Please put a detailed problem description (reason for returning the merchandise) in or on the package.

5. Returned goods must be shipped freight prepaid. Any returns shipped freight collect or billed to CHEE SHYE will be refused.

6. Returned merchandise must be packed in original cartons, just as received. Product must be clean and without scratches or usage marks.

REFUNDS

Refunds may be issued for items returned to CHEE SHYE within 15 days from the invoice date that the items are in UNUSED / UNOPENED condition, and the original packing materials are in UNUSED / UNOPENED conditions.

A restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price will be applied to items not conforming to the above conditions. Labor, shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

Warranty Policies

Warranty Policies and Proceedures
1. Any merchandise sold by CHEE SHYE carries a 12 month limited warranty effective on the invoice date.

2. Warranty is void if the serial number is removed or tampered with.

3. Warranty is void for products found to be physically damaged, mishandled, or altered in any way.

4. Customers must notify us within 14 days and then fill out the RMA request form and fax it back.

5. RMA number must be visible on the outside of packaging on all returned merchandise.

6. CHEE SHYE will NOT release parts to customers for replacement unless a certified maintenance.

  • APPARENT LOSS OR DAMAGE (SHIPMENTS)

    Should visual inspection upon receipt of this shipment show loss or damage, it must be noted on the freight bill or express receipt and signed by the carrier's agent. Failure to do this will result in the carrier refusing to honor claim. The carrier will furnish you with any inspection report and necessary forms for filing concealed damage claim, since such damage is the carrier's responsibility.

RMA RESTRICTIONS
RMA's WILL NOT be issued for items with apparent failure due to software incompatibilities.

RMA's WILL NOT be issued for reasons not covered by CHEE SHYE warranty conditions -

1. Abused or damaged equipment due to accident, break-in, misuse, fire, flood, or other contingencies beyond the control of CHEE SHYE.

2. Use of incorrect line or input control voltages.

3. Improper or unauthorized repairs.

4. Modification of equipment electronically or manually.

*CHEE SHYE reserves the right to fully test defective merchandise in order to replicate the reported failure.

* ANY UNRECEIVED RAM WILL EXPIRE 30 DAYS AFTER THE RMA ISSUED DATE.

CREDITS

Credits may be issued on items returned within 15 days from the invoice date provided that the items are in UNUSED / UNOPENED condition and the original packing materials are in UNUSED / UNOPENED condition.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

CHEE SHYE disclaims all liability for and customer specifically waives all rights to, any special, incidental or consequential damages, including any damages to property or any damages resulting from loss of data, profit or goodwill, which customers might suffer directly or indirectly as a result of any breach of any warranty, representation or covenant by CHEE SHYE, the manufacturer or CHEE SHYE suppliers. CHEE SHYE is not responsible for the integrity of data storage (floppy diskettes, hard disk drives, tape drives, etc.) . the contents of this document supercede all other previously published documents by CHEE SHYE, and CHEE SHYE policies are subject to change without prior notice.
